our family suffered one of the hardest losses and experiences we have dealt with as a family. We birthed and lost our fourth child Hollyn Bridges Poole. A pregnancy in which we had prayed so much for, specifically the gift of a girl, was shifted as we found out at 16 weeks that Hollyn’s heart had stopped beating. Through this tragedy and pain the Lord has still been so graceful and taught us so much. We feel as if the grieving process is ongoing yet our God comforts and sustains the broken-hearted.

As we received tremendous support from friends, family, and individuals we didn’t even know that well, one thing we continued to run into was the painful stories of other individuals that have suffered and dealt with the loss of a child. It is something rarely talked about, often hidden from the outside but never forgotten about in our hearts and souls.

As we have navigated through this tragedy we have felt led to take the ever so short 16 week life of Hollyn and let it be an opportunity to leave a lasting impact that will be carried on. We are creating a ministry called Hollyn’s Hope. This ministry will specifically be geared towards ministering to and loving on those who have suffered from losing a child.

Jesus was very particular about the care and love of children. Regardless of the painful worldly circumstances we know that there is healing and hope through Him. As we start this new journey and ministry please pray about being a supporter. We will use 100 percent of funds raised to go back towards healing hearts, which we believe would truly be our daughter Hollyn’s Hope!
