Rock Solid Strength

Building Bodies, Strengthening Souls

Rock Solid Strength is a ministry that is created to allow individuals to grow Physically and Spiritually. We believe at Rock Solid that our bodies are temples that we should guard and strengthen in many ways physically.

However, we also want to strive to grow deeper and stronger relationally through our spiritual walk with God.

We have taken this space and developed it into a great place for ANYONE to sign up to attend and feel welcome to grow along with us.

Sign up for one of the time slots below to be able to attend our classes and strive to be Rock Solid!

Our Policies And Procedures

Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple. – 1 Corinthians 3:16-17
Prepare the Way: The RSCC gym shall be used to maintain our bodies (God’s holy temples) so that we may use them to do His work. This shall be a place where the gospel can be shared, where we grow in our relationship with Christ, grow in fellowship with other Christains, and where we work hard to maintain our temples. Our words and our actions will be Christ like and we shall set an example for all who enter.
While using the gym always be courteous. Remember you are representing your family, RSCC, and the body of Christ, so always act appropriately. Please always be aware of this in the music you play, the words you use, and the attire you wear.
Any RSCC partner is welcome to use the space between 5am-8pm Monday-Saturday or Sundays 1-7pm. You MUST fill out the waiver BEFORE you use any of the equipment. Once your waiver has been completed, you will be given the code to open the door. You are welcome to invite adult guests, who also must fill out the waiver before entering. There must always be at least one RSCC partner in the gym at all times with any guests. Non RSCC partners can NOT be given the access code, nor can they work out without a RSCC partner in attendance.
Teenagers (12 years-18 years) may use the gym as long as their parents have signed the waiver and there is a RSCC partner with them who is over 18 years of age, or a parent.
We want to prepare the way for our children to love fitness and teach them to incorporate it into their everyday lives, for the rest of their lives. With that being said, it is not safe for young children to lift weights or play on the equipment. Ultimately, you know your child. You know if he or she is mature enough physically or mentally to be suitable for the type of workouts available at this gym. If you want to work out with your child, you must be there and must monitor their workout so they do not get hurt. The parent is solely and completely responsible for the safety of your child if you choose to bring him or her with you. Children under the age of 12 are limited to body weight movement only, they cannot, under any circumstances use the weights.
Classes will be offered at set times and a class schedule will be posted as classes are updated. Individual workouts will not be allowed during these class times.
Leave the gym in better shape than you found it. Wipes will be provided. Wipe down all the equipment that you use. Re-rack your weights. Take out the trash, wipe down the bathroom, and run the vacuum if it needs it. We do not have any paid staff cleaning up, so we’ll all need to do our part. If we are out of any supplies, please let Joleen Whelchel (864)346-4873 know right away, or walk down to the café and replenish what we need. In short… don’t leave the toilet paper roll empty…be courteous.
Smile! You’re on candid camera! The gym will have video cameras running at all times. This is to protect you and to protect RSCC. As mentioned in the “character” section, please always act as though someone is watching, because they are.
